Variable volumetric flow controllers
Variable volumetric flow controllers (VAV) regulate room air supply and exhaust extraction according to needs. The result is a pleasant and healthy room atmosphere with controlled air circulation. The high-speed variable volumetric flow controllers from SCHNEIDER are designed specially for use in laboratory premises.
 
VAV700 *new*
High-speed adaptive control system for variable control of room supply air and room exhaust air volume flows, particularly suitable for clean rooms and laboratories.

The integrated dual port switch allows a simple and effective Ethernet-networking of volume flow controllers (supply air/ exhaust air) and fume hood controllers FC700 within the laboratory and the complete building. The parameterisation and the data access occur with a standard web browser. Native BACnet® with trendlog and intrinsic reporting are optional implemented. LON® and Modbus® are supported as further field bus systems.

VAV500
Multi-functional high-speed variable air volume controller, analogue, LON, BACnet, Modbus

Available in the following versions:

  • round, PPs or steel
  • rectangle, PPs or steel

Microprocessor controlled, high-speed adaptive control system for variable control of room supply air and room exhaustair volume flows, particularly suitable for clean rooms and laboratories. Advanced requirements need a heating or cooling, and a pressurization of the room. In addition to these features the multi-functional flow Controller VAV500 provide up to 7 analogue inputs 0 (2) ... 10V DC for connecting consumers (e.g. fume hood controller FC500) and calculates the room balance. In network operation (LON,BACnet, Modbus) up to 16 consumers are accounted for.

The retrofit interfaceboards LON, BACnet or Modbus ensure an individual, efficient and cost-effective direct connection to the building management system (BMS).

VAV300-A (analogue)
Microprocessor controlled, high-speed adaptive control system for variable control of room supply air and room exhaustair volume flows, particularly suitable for clean rooms and laboratories. A high-speed control algorithm compares the setpoint with the actual value measured by a differential pressure transmitter and regulates the flow quickly, precisely and steadily, independent of pressure fluctuations in the duct system. The minimum and maximum volume flow setpoint is freely programmable and is saved mains voltage failure-safe in the EEPROM.

Analogue or LON setpoint selection:

The VAV variable volume flow controller is available in two versions, whereby the main difference is in the setpoint selection.

VME300
Volume flow measuring system with analogue output or LON interface

Microprocessor controlled, high-speed volume flow measuring system of room supply air and room exhaust air volume flows in manifolded ducts. Suitable for different measuring tasks, such as fume hoods, safety cabinets and other exhaust air and supply units.

The exhaust air and supply air volume flow is measured very stable and accurate and is as actual analogue value 0 (2) ... 10V DC or in LON-network mode as a standard variable (SNVT) available.

The retrofit interfaceboard LON, BACnet or Modbus ensure an individual, efficient and cost-effective direct connection to the building management system (BMS).

The system data and setpoint values are freely programmable and will be saved voltage fail-safe in the EEPROM.
